FFA and Highschool Tours

Tuttles welcomes hundreds of FFA's to the orchard each year during the national convention. Groups can tour our 150 acre working horticulture farm and see aspects of apple, greenhouse, agritourism, and vegetable production.

Tour Includes:
Tour of apple production facilities including cold storage, apple sorting, cider making.
Observation bee hive
Sampling of a selection of apple varieties and apple cider
Discussion of apple tree production, grafting, etc.
Introduction to agritourism industry.
Trip through Agrimaze corn maze.

Dates: October 18-22, 2011; 8:30AM-5:00PM (Saturday Tours 9AM-11AM Only)

Time: One hour guided tour + Agrimaze time

Cost: $4.00 per person. One adviser free for every 15 students.

Group Size: we can accommodate up to 150 students per hour broken into smaller groups. Small groups of a few students are welcome. We would typically combine you with another small group of FFA students.

Cancellations need to be made 24 hours in advance or a $60.00 cancellation fee will apply.
