Special 2012 Girl Scout DaysGirl Scout Apple Picking Day: Saturday, Sep. 15, 1-4PM This day includes: hayride, pick a bag of 4 apples, educational explanation of observation bee hive, time in the kid's play area, time in our Agrimaze corn maze. Girl Scout Pumpkin Patch Day: Thursday, Oct. 11, 4-7PM This day includes: hayride to the pumpkin patch to pick a small pie pumpkin, educational explanation of indoor apple production areas including large refrigerated cold storage, apple sorting machine, and cider press, time in the kid's play area, time in our Agrimaze corn maze. Cost is $6/person (scouts, parents, and accompanying siblings). To participate in these special Girl Scout Days, you must PRE-REGISTER with Ratasha Colbert at rcolbert@girlscoutsindiana.org Other Scout/church group packages:September Apple Fun: Enjoy some fun at the orchard. Each participant will pick a small bag of apples, take a hayride around the farm, and receive a tickets to Agrimaze and Kid's Play Area. A short lesson about how apples grow is optional upon request. or October Pumpkin Adventure: Come in October for some fun in the pumpkin patch. Each participant will take a hayride to the pumpkin patch where they will pick a small pie pumpkin. They also receive a tickets to the Agrimaze and Kid's Play Area. A short lesson on pumpkins and life science is optional. When? Monday-Friday 3-6PM (plan to begin by 4:30 to allow time for all the activities) or Saturday 10-11:30AM in September and October. We do not schedule Saturday afternoon groups. Cost: $5.00/child and adult.
Minimum 15 persons or $75.00/group. Smaller groups should visit as general admission guests. Food: Groups are welcome to bring any food or drinks to share with your group. Saturday Lunch is available at the Tuttles Food Stand after 11AM. Food Stand Menu. You may pre-ordered food for your group when you scheduling your tour. To Schedule: Call Helen at (317) 326-8488 Have a group of 50 or more?Reserve a Thursday or Friday late afternoon in October at Tuttles for your group of 50 people or more, and we'll keep our outdoor activities open late from 4 to 7pm just for you. Tickets of $5/person include a hayride to the pumpkin patch, pick a small pumpkin on the hayride, admission to the Kid's Play Area and Agrimaze. You will also be able to see the observation bee hive, shop in the farm store, and view the farm animals. Picnic tables will be provided for your group. We only book one group per evening. Can we bring food to the orchard? Yes, you may bring food for your group to enjoy. Picnic tables are available.
